Topofusion, the only thing I can say to simply summerize this software is AWESOME! If you haven’t used this, seen it, or heard about it, go here. I stumbled on to this software one evening looking for something that would take my GPX files. I was using MyTracks on my Android to create the GPX files. This was awesome too, check it out.
I was getting used to the usual route and track plots with speed and elevation profiles offered online. I had seen some that offered gradient colors on the profile to show grade differences. This was useful to me so I could compare a known track difficulty with a planned route grade profile. I couldn’t find anything that really gave me the detail I was looking for. That was until I found Topofusion.
Not only did it do all the things I had become accustom to, but it also had the resolution I was looking for. There were event more features like selectable map overlays, 3D rendering, cadence data, watts data, and heart rate data. This blew all the other things I had found out of the water.
