With this being the first blog entry for the quarter, I thought I’d start with the overwhelming and confusing starting point.  Aside from this being the first day, I really don’t have a solid direction to take.  I’m not new to this feeling, so I have to say it isn’t that overwhelming or confusing.  It’s more like a slow and uneventful start to the gusto I had imagined a couple of weeks ago.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I had all sorts of ideas about making a smart helmet that had sensors and things all neatly hidden inside the foam shell.  There were thoughts of making custom cases for my earlier projects.  The motivation for this was from a history of shelving items and never really finishing them.

Then came thoughts of home improvement.  I’ve got some serious work to do around the house and I’ve been dreading it.  If the work has to be done, might as well make the most of it.  The 2 big hurdles is the time dedicated to do it and the money.

If there is one common theme I’ve seen with similar projects is the excitement doesn’t last.  I had found some many resources online during break that I feared burnout when today arrived.  Well, here I am,the flame is a flicker.  I’m sure it will ignite again, it generally does.
